• Fugitive Indian businessman Mehul Choksi was arrested in the Dominican Republic. He had fled the island nation of Antigua and Barbuda on 23 May. The Indian government is in touch with the governments of Dominica and Antigua to expedite Choksi’s return to India. Choksi is one of the most wanted fugitives in India and has a red corner notice against him. He is one of the prime accused in the PNB scam that came to light in 2013.
