Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister Ali Sabry has heaped praise on India and called the Narendra Modi government a 'friend in need.' He also lauded India's bold decision to help Sri Lanka and saving its economy from slipping into an oblivion. His praise came amid a report by Reuters that claimed that Sri Lanka was negotiating an extension of the $1 billion credit line with India. Sri Lanka reportedly wants the credit line extended by 6 months as it is yet to use $300 million from it. Watch this video for more details.
