Indian-born Leena Nair joins French luxury fashion house Chanel as global CEO

Indian-born Leena Nair quit Unilever to join French luxury group Chanel as its Global Chief Executive. Chanel picked a consumer goods veteran to run one of the world's biggest luxury goods groups. She was the first female and youngest-ever Chief Human Resources Officer of Unilever. Nair's career at Unilever spanned 30 years and was a member of the company's executive committee. As per reports, Nair, in her new position with the French luxury group Chanel, will be based in London. A British national, born in India, Nair is a rare outsider at the helm of the tightly controlled family fashion house. Watch the full video for more.
