‘India’s real heroes were not given their due’: PM Modi’s jibe at Congress

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his government is trying to rectify the mistakes made by the past government which he alleged did not honour the real heroes of this country. PM Modi was speaking after laying the foundation stone of Maharaja Suheldev Memorial and development work of Chittaura Lake in Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi cited the contributions of Netaji, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and said that they were not given enough credit by the previous regimes. ‘The injustice and manipulation done to those who created history, by those who wrote history is being corrected by today's India,’ PM Modi said.
