  • External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar takes a dig at China for blocking UN listing of terrorists. Jaishankar said, 'the listing is done as terrorists are a threat to global community. He further added, 'but some countries block these listings at the peril of their own interests'. The minister made the statement while replying to HT's question on UNSC proposals being blocked by China to designate Pak-based terrorists. Last month, China blocked a joint proposal by India and the U.S to get Pak-based Jaish-E-Mohammed Deputy Chief Abdul Rauf Azhar blacklisted by the UN. Abdul Rauf is Jaish Chief Masood Azhar'S younger brother and the main conspirator in the Kandahar plane hijacking to Pulwama attack. Watch this report for more.
