J&K: Killers of Kashmiri TV artist shot dead; 4 Lashkar terrorists gunned down

Two LeT terrorists, suspected to be involved in the killing of TV artist Amreen Bhat, have been shot dead. The terrorists were killed in a late-night encounter in Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir police said. Bhat was shot dead outside her house in Budgam’s Hashroo village on Wednesday. The two terrorists, Shahid Mushtaq Bhat & Farhan Habib, had killed Bhat on the instruction of LeT Commander Lateef, said Vijay Kumar, IGP Kashmir. AK-56 rifle, four magazines and a pistol were recovered from the site of the encounter, said Kumar. Another encounter broke out in Soura area of Srinagar city where two LeT ultras were shot dead.
