J&K terror strike foiled: Security forces detect massive 30 Kg IED in Pulwama

- Major terror strike averted in Jammu & Kashmir ahead of Independence day. The security forces have recovered 25 to 30 kg of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Kashmir's Pulwama district. The IED was recovered from the Tahab Crossing on Pulwama's Circular Road. Big explosives recovery in Kashmir comes amid high alert before August 15. The IED, weighing nearly 30 kg, has been defused by the security forces. Following the recovery, security has been tightened along Udhampur-Katra railway link and at Udhampur railway station.
