‘Lives could have been saved’: Kanpur accident kills over two dozen pilgrims

- A horrific accident in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur has killed more than two dozen people. A tractor-trolley met with an accident after it lost control and fell into a pond last night. The tractor reportedly had 50 pilgrims onboard. The pilgrims were returning from the Chandrika Devi temple in Unnao. Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered his condolences over the incident. He also announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh to the families of those who died. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also condoled the deaths of the pilgrims. Watch this video to know more.
