‘Lying...’: Rahul Gandhi slams Modi govt for 'no record' of farmers' deaths

Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi slammed the Modi government for 'no record' of farmers' deaths during the farm laws protest. Congress party also produced a list of martyred farmers who lost their lives during the agitation. “The Prime Minister admitted his mistake and apologized to the nation. As a result of that mistake 700 people have died. Now, you are lying about their names. Why don't you have the decency to give them what is their due?,” said Rahul Gandhi in a press conference. On December 1, through a written reply, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar told the Lok Sabha that the government did not have any record of farmers who died during the protest.
