'Mouni Baba' Jibe for PM Modi creates ruckus in RS; FM Nirmala leads counter attack

The Rajya Sabha witnessed an unprecedented showdown between Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge. The two leaders sparred over the BBC Documentary ban after Kharge quoted former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on communal violence. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman countered Kharge and asked him to apologise for partly quoting the former prime minister. BJP President JP Nadda also dared the opposition to authenticate former PM Vajpayee's quote as mentioned by Mallikarjun Kharge in the Rajya Sabha.
