Over 1500 booked over 'Agnipath' violence; Forces bar entry for ‘arsonists’

- Big crackdown by govt after violent protests across states over 'Agnipath' scheme. Over 1,500 protesters have been booked while hundreds of FIRs have been filed in several states. 805 people have been booked in Bihar, from where these protests started after the announcement of the scheme. The Ministry of Home Affairs have also banned 35 Whatsapp groups for spreading fake news over 'Agnipath'. The action comes as the defence ministry has declared that there is no place for 'arsonists' in the forces. Watch this report to know more.
