'Painful...': Amit Shah tears into Savarakar's detractors amid mercy plea row

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday teared into VD Savarkar's critics for questioning his patriotism amid a row over mercy plea that he filed before the British during his imprisonment at Cellular Jail of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Shah, who visited the Cellular Jail today, slammed Savarkar's critics and hailed him as a "brave freedom hero". Amit Shah advised Savarkar's critics to visit his cell in Cellular Jail to "clear all doubts about him from their minds". Watch this report for more.
