The United States praised the Indian government for making significant efforts to detect, disrupt, and degrade the operations of terrorist organizations. A report published by the State Department, "Country Reports on Terrorism 2021: India," said that India expanded the number of state-level multi-agency centres to strengthen sharing of intelligence among state and federal agencies as there is a shift in terrorists' tactics in their attacks against civilians and a greater reliance on IEDs. The report also slammed Pakistan, saying it made meager progress in dismantling terrorist organisations.
