Parliament | Watch PM Modi's message to Opposition as Winter Session begins

• PM Narendra Modi delivered his remarks ahead of the Winter Session of Parliament. The PM said the government is ready to face all questions but decorum of the House should be maintained. Parliament’s monsoon session was marred by Oppn protests against farm laws, Pegasus issue. Last week, the PM declared repeal of farm laws & the Bill in this regard is likely to be tabled today. “Measure of work done in Parliament should be the hours spent on discussion & debate. In the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, lawmakers will find ways for the progress of the country,” he said. The PM asked the country to be more vigilant in view of reports about a new Covid-19 variant. He said the country is inching towards getting 150 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
