PM Modi hails 'matter of pride' as Durga Puja gets UNESCO heritage status

UNESCO gave international recognition to Kolkata's Durga Puja festival. Durga Puja festival was added to the prestigious ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage’ list on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also acknowledged the joyous moment. Modi said it is a matter of great pride and joy for every Indian and it is an experience everyone must have.
