Russian oil producer denies more oil to Indian firms citing surge in demand

Russian oil giant Rosneft isn’t signing new deals with Indian firms amid surge in demand from Asian buyers. Reuters reported that Rosneft has declined oil deals with Bharat Petroleum & Hindustan Petroleum. Indian refiners have been buying cheap Russian oil as the west snapped ties with Moscow over the Ukraine invasion. Earlier this year, Indian Oil corp, Bharat Petroleum & Hindustan Petroleum opened negotiations with Rosneft. But so far, only IOC has managed to seal a deal with Rosneft for 6 million barrels every month. Watch the full video for more.
