Indian National Congress party leader Vidya Rani courted controversy with her call to support protesting farmers. A video of the politician has surfaced in which she is apparently seen exhorting her peers to contribute to the protest by donating money, food, and even liquor, as per their capacity. She is heard apparently making a reference to the January 26 violence in Delhi when a tractor rally by the protestors had deteriorated into chaos. She said that the protest was revived after the incident, and it was the Congress' responsibility to drive it now. Watch the full video for more.
