- Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu met party leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday. "I shared all my concerns with Rahul Gandhi. Everything has been sorted out," he said after the meeting. Senior leader and Punjab Congress In-Charge Harish Rawat said that Sidhu will continue as the PCC Chief, Sidhu however dodged the question when asked by several reporters. This was Sidhu’s first meeting with Rahul after he quit as Punjab Congress chief on September 28 over differences with newly appointed chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi regarding appointments of DGP Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota and Advocate General APS Deol and also about key posts given to officials linked to the Guru Granth Sahib sacrilege case.
