Jailed Cong leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has been appointed as 'munshi' (assistant) in jail. Sidhu will do clerical work in the Patiala central prison where he’ll serve a one-year jail term. The Congress leader was imprisoned for one year in a 1988 road rage case last week. Sidhu will perform the job from his barrack because of security reasons, a jail official said. A board of doctors has recommended a special diet for Sidhu after he had sought the same in the jail. The court of chief judicial magistrate directed the Jail superintendent to act as per the medical board report. Watch the full video for more.
