Taapsee Pannu breaks silence on Income Tax raids; responds to FM Sitharaman

• Actor Taapsee Pannu has responded to the Income Tax raids conducted at her residence and others linked to Phantom films. The actor also responded to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s statement saying that the same individuals had also been raided in 2013 but there was no controversy around the matter. The actor’s response comes after several celebs and opposition leaders have attacked the Modi government over the raids. Many have argued that Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap have been targeted for taking a stand against the government on several issues including the farmers’ protest.
