Tandav row: FIR filed in Lucknow; I&B Ministry steps in l Latest updates

• A massive row has erupted over Amazon Prime’s web series ‘Tandav’. An FIR has been filed in Lucknow against the web series for hurting religious sentiments of the Hindu community. Reports suggest that the Information and Broadcasting ministry has also summoned Amazon Prime officials over the issue. BJP leader Kapil Mishra has also sent a legal notice to the makers of the web series. BJP leader Ram Kadam has demanded that the web series be banned and demanded an apology from the makers of the series. He said that if this happens again, those involved should be beaten with shoes.
