'Twitter locked 5,000 Congress accounts': After Rahul, more leaders face penalty

- Twitter has locked official account of Indian National Congress and several of its leaders for allegedly violating social media site’s policy. Twitter account of Congress leaders Randeep Surjewala, Ajay Maken and Sushmita Dev was locked. The Congress leaders had shared Rahul Gandhi’s picture with a nine-year-old rape victim’s family. Rahul Gandhi had tweeted the picture in which victim’s mother’s face was visible. Rahul’s account was locked by Twitter for violating its policy. Congress workers have been protesting over Twitter’s actions. Meanwhile, Twitter said that it enforces its rules impartially. Watch the full video for more details.
