‘Violence on Republic Day unfortunate’: President Ram Nath Kovind

- President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the joint session of the Parliament to kick off the Budget session. President Kovind spoke on the violence that marred the tractor rally called by the agitating farmers on Republic Day and called the events unfortunate. President Kovind also said that the government had also conducted elaborate discussions before introducing the three farm laws. This comes days after the tractor rally called by farmers protesting against the Centre’s farm laws was hit by violence and vandalism. Several policemen were also injured. A bunch of protesters had also stormed into the Red Fort. Watch the full video for all the details.
