- PM Modi's Pakistani ‘sister’ Qamar Mohsin Sheikh sent him rakhi ahead of Raksha Bandhan. Sheikh, who came to India from Pak after her marriage, also sent a Raksha Bandhan card. She also prayed for the Prime Minister's good health. I feel extremely happy as this is going to be my 26th Rakhi with him. I pray for him every day for his good health and long life. He has been doing appreciable work for the country. I am sending him a card with a hand-written message in it,” Sheikh said. Last year, Shaikh had said her first Raksha Bandhan with PM was when he was an RSS worker. Raksha Bandhan is observed on the last day of Hindu lunar calendar month of Shravana.
