Watch: Tribal man carries wife’s corpse after hospital staff refuses to help

• A tribal man in Odisha was seen carrying the dead body of his wife after hospital staff refused to help. Tribal farmer Balakrushna Kanhar of Motingia village in Kandhamal district had admitted his wife to the district headquarters hospital on Tuesday. His wife died on Wednesday afternoon following cardiac arrest. Kanhar asked hospital staff to help him carry his wife’s body to the hearse van but nobody came forward. Video of the incident shows Kanhar carrying his wife from the hospital bed to the hearse van. The tribal farmer had to carry his wife from the second floor of the hospital.
