- The Centre has withdrawn the Personal Data Protection Bill from the Lok Sabha after a joint parliamentary committee suggested 81 amendments to it. The Centre is now working on a new comprehensive legal framework to bring in new legislation as per the recommendations. The opposition Congress party however expressed unhappiness over the Modi govt's move, calling it a win for the Big Tech and a loss for India. Watch the video to know what the Bill was all about.
