Why PM Modi got loud applause at UNGA on Covid vaccine move

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement at the United Nations General Assembly that India has resumed export of Covid-19 vaccines to help less fortunate nations was met with loud applause. He also hailed Indian scientists for developing the world's first DNA vaccine against Covid. He also revealed that an mRNA vaccine was in the last stage of development in India, while scientists are also working on a nasal vaccine against the disease. Watch the full video for more.
