‘Won’t let…’: How Tikait buoyed farmers back home after 13 months of protest

Rakesh Tikait received a warm welcome as he reached Muzaffarnagar after 13 months of protest. The BKU leader said he won’t let the country be sold and urged the youth to support the movement. Tikait had also received a warm welcome from farmers in Meerut upon his return from Delhi. The BKU leader also said that he was not going to contest any elections and urged political parties to not make use of his name or photos in their posters. Meanwhile, farmers have headed back to their respective homes from Singhu, Ghazipur and Tikri borders. Farmer leaders said that they will again meet on jan 15 to see if the government has fulfilled their demands. Watch the full video for more.
