Year after China face-off started, India plans new Ladakh tunnel to boost forces

A year after border tension between India and China reached a low not seen in decades, the Narendra Modi government has approved a new tunnel in Ladakh to give a fillip to security forces. The tunnel, to be built under the Shinkun La pass by the Border Roads Organisation, will facilitate all-weather travel between Manali and Leh. It will help take personnel and resources to forces stationed in Ladakh, Kargil, and Siachen. Watch the full video for more.
