Why Qandeel Baloch's brother was freed by Pak court for honour killing

- The horrific killing of Pakistan's social media star Qandeel Baloch had left the world in shock in 2016. 6 years later, her brother's acquittal by Lahore High Court has awoken old scars. Celebrities and Twitterati were left baffled after Qandeel's mother filed for pardon of her brother. Muhammad Waseem was found guilty of murdering his sister and had received a life-imprisonment sentence from a trial court in 2019. But after serving less than six years in prison, he is set to walk free. Though the court order is yet to be made public, Waseem's lawyer has claimed that he is 'fully acquitted'. Qandeel Baloch was strangled in 2016 after becoming famous for her suggestive and defiant social media posts. Watch this video to find out how the case unfolded over the years.
