Rajnath Singh's 'Make In India’ pitch for U.S defence firms amid Ukraine War

Defence Minister Rajnath has urged U.S companies to take advantage of the policy initiatives taken by the Modi government and carry out joint research and development, manufacturing and maintenance of defence equipment. He said the move was aimed at achieving the vision of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’. Rajnath Singh's remarks come close on the heels of the India-U.S 2+2 dialogue held in Washington recently. He was addressing the members of the American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM India) through video conferencing during its 30th Annual General Meeting. Watch this video for more.
