Russians target Kyiv after weeks of calm; Brutal street fights in Severodonetsk

After weeks of calm, multiple blasts rocked the Ukrainian capital today morning; at least one person hospitalised. Missile strikes on infrastructure come at a time when life had just begun inching towards normalcy in Kyiv. The Russians hit the Darnytskyi & Dniprovskyi districts of Kyiv, smoke continued long after the explosions. Kyiv’s Darnytskyi dist. sits on the left bank of the Dnipro, while the Dniprovskyi district lies along the river. Dnipro river divides Ukraine between east & west - for some, the expanse has become a natural border with Russians. Earlier, air raid sirens reportedly went off across much of Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv.
