Deepa Malik gets Khel Ratna; Swapna Barman, Sai Praneeth get Arjuna Award

Various sportsperson received award on Thursday by President Ram Nath Kovind in the national capital. Paralympic silver medalist Deepa Malik became the first Indian woman para-athlete to have received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award. Asian Games Gold medalist Swapna Barman received the Arjuna award. Woman cricketer Poonam Yadav, Footballer Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, equestrian Fouaad Mirza were among 19 sportperson who recieved Arjuna Award.
