IPL Season 4: Mumbai Indians quell Deccan Chargers by 37 runs

Deccan Chargers succumbed to the deadly deliveries of paceman Lasith Malinga as Mumbai Indians recorded a 37-run victory in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match in Hyderabad on Sunday. Chargers, playing before a home crowd, were confident to achieve the target of 173 runs, but were restricted to 135 as Malinga got three wickets. If Malinga did the trick with the ball it was Rohit Sharma who stitched the victory with his bat for Mumbai Indians. Sharma together with Andrew Symonds took the score to 172 runs.
