Mary Kom guns for Gold at Rio

Bronze medal-winning ace Indian woman boxer at this year's London Olympics, M C Mary Kom has said that she will look to better her record with a determined attempt to bag the gold medal in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. While speaking on the sidelines of a felicitation function hosted in her honour at Pune, Kom said that having secured the dream of an Olympic medal in the maiden outing for women's boxing at the sport's premier event, she now eyed the ultimate prize. The ace boxer, a participant in the 51 kg event, was among six Indian athletes who brought home the country's best medals tally in the Olympic Games, at this year's mega event staged in London.
