Ravi Shastri retained as team India’s head coach

Ravi Shastri was re-appointed as India's head coach by Kapil Dev-led Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC comprised of Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaekwad and Shantha Rangaswamy. This will be Shastri's fourth stint with the national team, havomg served briefly as the Cricket Manager, Team Director and head coach. Shastri pipped Robin Singh, Lalchand Rajput, Mike Hesson, and Tom Moody to regain the position.
