Selection trials begin for junior hockey team for Asia Cup

Selection trials began for India's under-18 boys' hockey team for Asia Cup in central Bhopal city on Sunday. The 55 boys short-listed from various hockey academies across the country underwent medical tests before the first phase of training. While former captains Ajit Pal Singh and Zafar Iqbal are the observers, Balbir Singh, B.P. Govinda. Madhu Yadav and Munir Singh, form the selection committee.
