Indian captain Virat Kohli said that the 'crowd booing Steven Smith' at The Oval cricket ground during the World Cup match was not acceptable. The Indian captain apologised on behalf of the crowd after Smith was booed by them. Kohli was later praised for defending the former Australia captain from crowd at The Oval stadium. India on June 9 beat Australia by 36 runs at the World Cup match.
