Skipper Anil Kumble believes that his team has the potential to beat the world champions. Addressing a news conference in Mumbai on December 16, Kumble said that the Indian Team has the potential to end Australia's 14-Test winning streak and clinch their first series victory in the country during their upcoming tour. Kumble said the team had a number of experienced campaigners and that would help the team's cause to a great extent. He also expressed his confidence in inexperienced but capable bowlers, Ishant Sharma and Pankaj Singh.
