John McEnroe reacts to Martina Navratilova-BBC pay row

59-time tennis Grand Slam champion Martina Navratilova said she was “angry” and “felt let down” by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) when it was revealed that the corporation had paid John McEnroe at least 10 times more than her for their broadcasting roles at Wimbledon. The 18-time Grand Slam winning American earned between 150,000 and 199,999 pounds during last year's fortnight compared to just 15000 pounds for Martina Navratilova.
