Tibetan Airlines plane catches fire at China airport; Passengers run to safety

• A Tibet Airlines plane catching fire after veering off the runway at a Chinese airport has been caught on camera. In several viral videos, flames engulfing the side of the stricken jet can be seen as terrified passengers ran from the scene. 113 passengers and 9 crew members were safely evacuated. The flight was headed from the southwestern city of Chongqing to Tibet's Nyingchi. As per report, the crew detected "abnormalities" and suspended take-off. In a statement, Tibet Airlines stated that this caused the jet to overrun the runway. Watch this video for more details.
