Iran has rejected U.S. claims that American forces sank several Iranian military boats during the latest Strait of Hormuz confrontation, with an IRGC commander calling the U.S. version “a lie” in remarks carried by Iranian state-linked outlets. The denial came after U.S. Central Command chief Admiral Brad Cooper said American forces destroyed six Iranian small boats and intercepted missiles and drones fired toward warships and escorted vessels in the waterway.
