Trump orders third wave of brutal strikes on Iran after IRGC's Hormuz attack

The Middle East has witnessed another sharp escalation after U.S. President Donald Trump ordered a third round of military strikes on Iran this week, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). Washington said the operation was launched after Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) allegedly attacked the Cyprus-flagged container ship M/V GFS Galaxy in the Strait of Hormuz, leaving the vessel damaged and a crew member reportedly missing.
