Britain’s top military officer has admitted the UK still lacks a full, modern national defence plan and does not have enough money to fund all existing and newly proposed defence commitments, even as politicians talk about deployments to Ukraine and Greenland. Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton told MPs that “if we wanted to do everything that’s currently in the programme and everything that’s in the SDR with the budget we have, then the answer is no,” stressing the forces “can’t do everything we would want to do as quickly as we would want to do it.” Watch for more
