A luxury yacht linked in reports to sanctioned Russian billionaire Alexey Mordashov has drawn attention after crossing the Strait of Hormuz during the U.S. blockade on Iran-linked shipping. The 142-metre superyacht Nord was reported to have left Dubai on April 24, transited Hormuz on April 25, and reached Muscat early on April 26, making it one of the few vessels to pass through the strategic waterway during the standoff.
