A new report has reignited fears that Iran is quietly rebuilding Houthi firepower while the U.S. remains focused on rising tensions with Tehran. Investigators from Conflict Armament Research claimed seized missile and drone kits carried Iranian-style labels, including the “358” designation linked to Tehran-backed systems. The report said the Houthis continue assembling advanced anti-ship, ballistic and surface-to-air weapons despite a long-standing U.N. arms embargo. Researchers also uncovered components tied to at least 16 countries, exposing a vast global supply web. The findings surfaced as Gulf nations fear another escalation across Yemen and the Red Sea region.
