Canada Dissolves Parliament Amid Trump’s ‘51st US State’ Threat, Announces Snap Polls | Mark Carney

Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney on March 23 announced dissolution of the country’s parliament, triggering snap elections in the country. Carney said the general elections will be held on April 28 amid threats from US President Donald Trump on tariffs and annexing Canada to make it “51st US state”.
