China: First human infection of H10N3 virus reported amid Covid; pandemic risk?

China's National Health Commission (NHC) on 01 June said that a 41-year-old man in Zhenjiang has been confirmed as the first human case of infection with the H10N3 strain of bird flu. The man was confirmed as having H10N3 avian influenza on May 28 but how he caught the infection wasn’t confirmed by the NHC. He had been hospitalised on April 28 after he developed fever and other flu-like symptoms. But, what is H10N3 strain? Watch full video for more details.
