China has issued a strong warning over the escalating Middle East conflict. Speaking in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the Iran war “should never have happened” and called for an immediate halt to military operations. He warned that force would only deepen crises and urged major powers to avoid confrontation. His remarks come ahead of a possible visit by Donald Trump and amid growing tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
