China's V-P to attend Queen’s funeral after diplomatic spat with UK |Key Details

- Chinese president Xi Jinping's close aide and country's vice-president Wang Qishan will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Britain's longest ruling monarch will be laid to rest next to her husband Prince Philip on Sep 19 at Westminster Abbey in London. The confirmation over vice-president's visit to UK by Chinese foreign ministry comes a day after a Chinese delegation was reportedly banned from attending the Queen's lying-in-state.
